The School has been actively involved in building capacities of Self Help Groups (SHGs), federations and cooperatives in the sector. Another such initiative is The School's engagement in the Uttarakhand Government Project for capacity building of SwarnaJayanti Gram Swaraj Yojna (SGSY) groups in collaboration with SEWA Bharat. The School trains SHG Leaders and senior government officials to help them create sustainable groups with a focus on micro-enterprise.

The trainings are in 3 forms:

  1. Pre-group formation phase,
  2. Formation phase and
  3. Post-formation phase
